2025 WILD DEVILS RAFFLE
Return to this space in August to discover the 2025 raffle prize!
Congratulations to our 2024 Wild Devils Raffle Winner: Marianne Essington
Marianne won a weekend visit for up to 10 people at the Devils River State Natural Area’s Dan A. Hughes Unit and stayed in the magnificent Lodge overlooking the Devils River this past April!
Thanks to a generous donation by Texas Parks & Wildlife’s Devils River State Natural Area as part of Wild Devils 2024, our raffle winner and her family enjoyed an unforgettable weekend at the river. Their adventure included afternoons swimming and fishing in clear, flowing waters, along with a guided hike to the Sunburst Shelter to view Indigenous rock art created thousands of years ago, early morning birding and evening owling, and a scenic walk along the Overlook Trail to round out the experience with a breathtaking vista of the river stretching to the horizon in both directions.
We’re grateful to the Essingtons for their strong support of the Devils River Conservancy and to Texas Parks & Wildlife for making this experience possible.
